How to use
- Choose a PDF that contains selectable text.
- Choose whether to add a page break between PDF pages or keep the text continuous.
- Press “Convert to Word”, then download the DOCX and open it in Word or Google Docs.
What does the tool convert and what does it not?
It carries over text, paragraphs and large headings. Images, tables, multiple columns and complex formatting are not carried over; the text appears in a single flow. If your file is full of design and tables, a dedicated desktop converter is a better fit.
Scanned files
If the file is made of scanned images there is no extractable text, and you would need optical character recognition (OCR), which this tool does not support yet. Try selecting text in a PDF reader: if you can, the tool will work.
A tip after converting
Review the resulting document after opening it. You may need to fix paragraph breaks or the order of some lines, especially in files that mix Arabic and English text.
Frequently asked questions
Does the conversion keep the document's look?
Not fully. Text, paragraphs and headings are carried over, but layout, tables and images are not.
Does it work on scanned files?
No. Files with images only need OCR, which is not available yet.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction and conversion happen entirely inside your browser.
