How to use
- Choose the date of birth.
- Leave the as-of date on today or change it to another date.
- Read the result: exact age, totals and days remaining.
How is age calculated?
Years, months and days are subtracted from the as-of date, borrowing from the previous month when needed. If the as-of day is smaller than the birth day, a month is removed and the number of days of the previous month is added. Total days are the direct difference between the two dates.
When do you need an exact age?
An exact age is asked for in school, job and insurance applications and in checking age requirements. It is also useful for tracking a child's age in months and weeks for health follow-ups.

What if I was born on 29 February?
Leap years are handled, and in non-leap years the next birthday is counted on 1 March.
Are my dates saved?
No. The calculation happens in your browser and nothing is sent.
