How to use
- Choose one PDF file.
- Pick the position (top or bottom, left, centre or right), the style, the size and the starting number.
- Press “Add numbering”, then download the file.
Numerals used
Numbers are written with Latin digits (1, 2, 3) in a clean neutral font that suits any document. Only digits are drawn, so the Arabic or English text of your document is not affected.
Starting from a different number
You can start from a number other than 1, which helps when the file is part of a larger document. If this file begins at page 25 of a book, type 25 as the start.
Frequently asked questions
Could the number cover page content?
The number sits a small distance from the page edge. If your document has text very close to the edge, choose another position.
Can I use Arabic-Indic numerals?
Currently the tool uses Latin digits only.
Does the rest of the file change?
No. Only the number is added, and the rest of each page stays as it is.
