Extract Pages from a PDF File

If you need only a few pages from a long document, there is no need to send all of it. Type the page numbers you want and you will get a new PDF containing only those pages, in the order you wrote them.

Your files are never uploaded to any server; everything is processed inside your browser.

How to use

  1. Choose one PDF file.
  2. Type the pages you want, for example 1-3, 7, 10-12.
  3. Press “Extract pages”, then download the new file.

Reordering while extracting

Pages are added to the new file in the order you type them. If you write 5, 1-2, page 5 comes first and then pages 1 and 2, so you can use the tool to reorder parts of a file.

Common uses

Students extract only the chapter they study, employees pull the signature page from a long contract, and accountants send the summary page of a report without the details.

Frequently asked questions

Is the original file affected?

No. Your original stays as it is and you get a separate new file.

Can I repeat the same page?

Yes. Typing 2, 2, 2 puts page two three times in the output.

What if I type a page that does not exist?

A message explains that the range is outside the page count, so you can fix it and try again.
